A quick note about this weblog?s shift in blogspace.
This weblog was originally called Diversions a name meant to capture the informal intent of my notes on what I enjoy. While I respect my judgment I mainly want to express my tastes, mostly enthusiasms, inevitably dismissals.
I changed the name to Queer Diversions partly to reflect my liking gay and homoerotic books, movies and music. The name was also meant as a pun if only to me capturing the regrettably lost earlier meaning of the word queer.
Queer Pop Culture is a bit overweening given my minimal ambitions. You could ask me why I chose the name but I?d be hard pressed to answer.

I'm a happily gay atheist. Homophobic, racist comments and conversion attempts are deleted.
Disagreement is fine but hate speech won't be tolerated. Even if you share my prejudices I'd rather you not insult other people who leave comments here.
