iTunes no better than WMP for playing CDs

iTunes isn?t any better at detecting that a new CD has been put in the CD player than Windows Media Player. I guess I?ll go download the latest edition of Winamp and see if that fixes my odd problem of the CD playing but no sound coming out of the speaker with the two earlier releases. Besides I like being able to use the Zempt plugin.
No new version of Winamp. I guess that went with the AOL/Time Warner fiasco.
