These are what drill bits should be, they are straight and sharp. I was using my drill press when tired them. First on wood, they started where I wanted, no skipping, cut clean, both entry and exit, true, with out deflection, and with such ease from the smallest to the largest in softwood or... more info

I used these bits for a heavy duty job drilling both wood and aluminum. They worked great for a while, however, the Pilot Point Tip eventually lots its bite. With a dull Pilot Point Tip the drill bit will simply spin on top of the surface you're drilling. So once the Tip is dull you'll either need... more info

I'm not really sure what foozleface was talking about. I had a project where I needed to bore a 3/4" hole through the end-grain of hard maple, which is significantly harder on a bit than edge grain. Upon the recommendation of a 30-year master woodworker, I purchased the Freud forstner bits. He told... more info

I was beginning to wish I had a second cordless drill. Having to change bits frequently is all the more work. With the Bosch Clic system, you just pop the bit in the holder, pull the head back, it clicks and holds your bit. To change, it is intuitive because as you pull the chuck forward it releases... more info

I purchased these as a gift for the home improvement junkie that I share a house with and guess who uses them constantly? ME! They are razor sharp and quite an upgrade from the cheap dull ones we had previously. Don't buy cheap tools! They are dangerous and frustrating. We also have the 14 volt... more info

I had my set for couple weeks now and I have already broken a bit. The material is very brital. While drilling steel the bit broken in half. I also discover that the tip surface is not exactly even/symmetrical which results in your work piece wobbling on initial contact. Once the bit digs into the... more info

I have been using the bits for several months. I have had very good results working with soft woods on my small drill press. The bits are very straight compared to the junky Irwin bits I got at Home Depot. The carbide bits are very sharp and cut a very true hole. The only problem I have with this... more info

I only have two of the Milwaukee Contractor's bits and I love them, I will buy this set soon. I use them for cutting the many holes required to run house electrical and plumbing. They are perfect for the hard to reach out of position holes that you can't push on a auger bit to cut through. They will... more info

These bits do a great job. I'm about to buy spare drill bits for the set. True, there are cheaper versions. I've destroyed several. The "cheaper" versions have set screws that strip out quickly, or spin because you can't tighten them enough.

These work great. Perfect hole every time. They even impressed my buddy who will only buy milwaukee. The Dewalt set is 10 dollars cheaper and you get 8 bits instead of 7. I would highly recommend this product.

The unibit is fantastic for putting holes in thinner material. A plus is the hole will be deburred on the side you are drilling from. When drilling stainless steel (my experience was with 1/8" 316 ss) be careful to reduce RPM as each step goes through. It can work harden the material easily, and... more info

Even though I do mostly electrical, buying this kit was beneficial because it includes all but one bit that I needed, which I purchased separately. Extra center self feed bits are included to replace the primary ones if you should somehow break or wear one done. Although that hasn't happened to me... more info

As you can tell from the title of this review, I am impressed with these brad point bits. I recently built a hobby table for a Christmas gift, and the table was built of hard clear maple. These bits did a marvelous job. Fisch recommends a 2-3,000 rpm speed range and my drill press belt ratio put... more info

If you are into woodworking and like your screws surface flushed, then this has to be in your drill case! With tapered bits and extra sharp cutters, you would not tear or split the wood. Seen them for 50% more at local home improvement centers (and without the included collar stop!). The extra dowel... more info

I love my set, I looked at the other reviews some which were older and decided to buy and wasnt at all disapointed. They came in a well made box, well oiled which is important to me,
an index chart which is very helpful. The quality is not that of the $... USA made sets out there but for my... more info

I have had several sets of auger bits that only lasted a few uses before becoming so dull they wouldn't drill at all. These bits are great. A little more expensive, but worth it if you use them a lot.
