Breath of fresh air:

Sometimes, buying hyped albums without previous listenings pays off very handsomely. Glasgow's darlings Franz Ferdinand have created an album that I am enjoying to no end: upon walking into my favorite CD store, I saw the album looking me in the eye and I immediately bought it, and listened to it twice through. I hadn't heard any of the songs before, and I was most pleased with the effort and the money spent.
Strokes? Interpol? Pulp? No no, FF does not sound like any of these bands. It could be argued... more info

Franz Ferdinand maybe one of the best new bands out there today.

1.Jacqueline- Nice Spoken intro that just turns right into a jam. A Party beats work anyday, whoo! 5/5
2.Tell Her Tonight- Fun and catchy. 5/5
3.Take Me Out- Excellent! The lyrics and beat are fantastic. 5/5
4.Dark of the Matinee- I love this song too. 5/5
5.Auf Achse- I imagine it's about going crazy over a girl that you want but you can't have. 4/5
6.I'm Cheating On You- A fast and catchy song. Break ups never sounded so fun... more info

All the songs in this album are fantastic!! Franz Ferdinand is an incredibly talented band that creates fearless music! They respect many different genres of music and they aren't (...) enough to say so. So, you see, you dimwitted metal rock punktards, you don't have to publicly hate pop music to be successful. No fear!!! wooo! music! wooo! WOOO!!! WOOOOOOO!!!
