Wow:

I didn't watch Clay Aiken on American Idol 2, but "The Way" converted me to an Aiken fan when he performed it on television shows, as it's the kind of sweet, easy-listening love ballad that I enjoy, and Clay Aiken simply has a fantastic, crystal-clear voice that's rare in the industry today.

As for "Solitaire", what I can say? I had previously ordered the CD-single not expecting much as I found "Solitaire" a bit monotonous. But after Clay Aiken performed the song on Idol 3, I was cursing Amazon for not... more info

Hands down winner!:

True the "single" on this one may be "The Way" but the true shining star is "Solitare". Ever since Clay did it on American Idol, bringing tears to the eyes of its writer, Neil Sedaka, who claimed he has never heard his song done like this before, it became a fast favorite of mine. In fact it is because of the fan reaction from his Live performance that he finally released this version in completion. Clay's voice is raw and real on the tune.
