A Touching Farewell CD:

Is is no secret that June Carter did not sing like her more talented sisters and mother. That is evident here when often she sounds frail and doesn't always hit the notes. Given that, there is much to love on this CD, not the least of which is June herself as a decent, loving human being. The notes are written by Rosanne Cash, her stepdaughter-- a word that June Carter Cash banned from her vocabulary, according to Cash.
