Near Perfect Collection Of Animated Treats:

Looney Tunes fans should be delighted that Warner Bros. has finally released a collection of shorts on DVD. Bugs, Daffy, Elmer, Yosemite, Coyote, Roadrunner, Foghorn, Tweety, Slyvester, Marvin, and even the banned from Cartoon Network Speedy are all here in this four disc fifty six episode DVD set. Watching these cartoons I was thinking, "they don't make them like this anymore."

Some of the highlights include Rabbit Seasoning, a cartoon in which Daffy Duck is going out of his way to see Bugs Bunny shot... more info

The original LOONEY TUNES gang is back, and boy do they look terrific. Warner Home Video has compiled a terrific selection of 56 animated gems starring Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky, Pig, Elmer Fudd, along with dozens of other characters, and added hours and hours of bonus features and documentaries. This is sure to become a perennial in anyone's serious DVD collection.

Just rented these...now I have to buy them...:

We rented all four DVDs from Netflix (my husband, who will be 40 next week LOVES Warner Bros cartoons!). After watching them with our 7- and 3-year-old children, I have to get it for his birthday, because he was such a kid again! He did notice that some of his "favorites" were not included (even without reading the amazon.com reviews) but he said he would love to own this set anyway. Can't wait to receive it!
