Thought provoking look at the culture of violence:

Ultimately, Michael Moore fails to answer the question that is essentially the basis for "Bowling for Columbine": why are Americans so violent? There are no easy answers to that question. Moore centers the film in Littleton, Colorado and the shootings at Columbine High where he tries to make sense of the senseless. It's a difficult task. Michael Moore has produced a brilliant film in "Bowling for Columbine," beginning to examine the question of gun violence in America. What makes me appreciate this film the most is that it does not provide empty platitudes or draw simple conclusions, simultaneously keeping the level of conversation easy to understand and approachable.
