Eats batteries:

EXTEREMLY DISAPPOINTED!!! My daughter is afraid to sleep in the dark. First I bought the hello kitty version made by the same company, this one ate batteries in two hours and was dangerously hot the next morning. Then I decided to purchase the barbie version wow this one took Four hours to eat batteries. It would have been nice if it lasted longer.

Awesome toy for any girl age 3-16:

We bought 15 of these on sale for our daisy scouts/ girlscout etc for our camping trip and the kids loved them. I can't tell you how many times they got dropped and left on all night and were still working the next morning. We went with 15 for a 4 day camping trip and came home with 15 unbroken, never changed any batteries and now they have it to play with which I am sure it will last until our next camping trip in 4 weeks. Thanks for a great product, having to raise all our money ourselves we must buy... more info
