Z-640's are great!:

I was a little hesatant about buying these because of their small size, but don't worry they ROCK! And the price can't be beat either. The sound quality is excellent and hook up couldn't be easier. The rear speakers could have a little longer wires, but not a big deal to get extensions. As others have said the vivid BLUE power light is a little distracting, but a piece of black tape fixes that. Great value for money:

I just picked these up after seeing a deal at Amazon. I read all the prior reviews on this site and was left with a realistic set of expectations.
Pros:
Great price
Good build quality
Solid bass
Great high end

Cons:
Mid range a little weak
Bright blue LED on center is just plain stupid
Bass control on sub - would be better on the center with all the other controls

Note: I have these connected to an Audigy 1 sound card.
