His best.:
Unchained is the best title ever for this CD. It is infact unchained, and the good, old raw Cash that we've all come to love over the many years of his amazing career.
If this is the last record Cash puts out, he can consider his career a prosper one.

Unpolished, but that's the point:
This was the first of the Johnny Cash/Rick Rubin collaborations I discovered (although it's actually the second of the four released), and it's probably the best top-to-bottom (although my single favorite track in the series is the cover of "Hurt" on American Recordings IV). Unchained is more "produced" than the original AR release, but still gloriously unpolished. Up and down the song list, it's easy to see why Cash is as popular among bluesy rockers as among the country crowd.If you're a new-country...
