Respectable Mag for All:

Advocate expresses some of the most important issues in the gay and lesbian world in a way that everyone can appreciate. I'm not gay, but I love reading Advocate because it tells me things I wouldn't be find in Time or Newsweek. It's a really refreshing and interesting news magazine. I recommend it for everyone, man, woman, gay, straight, whatever, I think it's worth your time.

OK if you absolutely CANT get hooked up with a better mag...:

The collection (what four?) of gay mags at Amazon is
unbelieveably thin. The Advocate is OK I suppose, but
merely that. If you are straight, please know this, this
isnt the "gay Newsweek". This is noticeably more light-
weight. Basically if you (either side of the aisle) wanted
something written for a gay reader base with some meat
to it, there isn't something like that around in the
gay press. So you would wind up reading something by the
basically 'straight but not narrow'... more info

Hello:

This magazine needs to think out side the gay box. They are too martha stewart and note enough rolling stone.

Gays come in all shapes and sizes with ecletic tastes that go beyond muscles and musicals.
