Chris Kent Does It Again:
Frankly, I am amazed that Chris Kent gets away with it but I'm glad he does. In the real Tom Brown's School Days, Kent has taken a timeless, classic English novel, which is frankly second-rate twaddle, and has reworked it into a page-turning experience that leaves you as breathless as most of the boys who appear in the book. Some readers will be put off and other turned on by the o-so-graphic sex, but there's far more to the book than sexual titillation - it's tale that manages to be poignant, moving,... more info
