great guide for what?:

At the time this book was being dreamt up several competant scientists and psychologist were busy studiously interviewing thousands of men about thier experiences with anal sex. Some great new information and suggestions about fears, lubrication and techniques were discovered yet sadly in the background was this author who (like so many)is bent on beating the scientists to the punch without doing any *realistic* research. If you want to get into your butt or you want someone else to, this is the book for you! Good for begginers, lacking for the expereinced:

Overall, I thought the book was well written, descriptive and to the point. I think it did the job it was intended to do: give a broad general introduction to anal sex. I'll agree that the illustrations were lacking, although, I wonder if they weren't intentionally campy.

If you're more expereinced or lookig for something in more detail, then go elsewhere, otherwise, I recommend checking this out. I would have loved to have had a copy growing up in a small, sexually repressed New Jersey town... more info
