Love the way she writes: 
This is a really great book. It's not the light romance that most of lesbian books are, although there is a lovestory in it. But it has much more depth then just a lovestory. And I love the way she writes. It's so easy to read. This book gives you great value for your money.
And I can't imagine that it won't be nominated for a Lambda-book-award.
Interesting insights on law profession: 
I have only one complaint about this book, it has profanity. The kind that got VP Cheney in trouble (and Sen. Kerry from a Rolling Stone interview).
Not as good as Abbot's first novel:
I was really really looking forward to reading this second novel of Cameron Abbott's and was really disappointed. The storyline and characters are almost the same as her first novel. However, in this second book, the characters were much less likable and romantic/sexual. I turned this book into my local gay bookstore for a store credit as soon as I could. I would NOT recommend this book and I hope Ms. Abbott's next book has more likable characters and does not get into the nitty gritty of 'the law' and... more info
