Another Great One by Dr. Stanley!:

Once again, Dr. Stanley has written another excellent text, this one focusing on temptation.

Among the important points covered in the book include:

1. Reasons to take sin seriously.
2. God wants to develop our character.
3. Ways people shift blame for giving in to temptation.
4. God does not want us to live an anxiety-ridden life.
5. God will provide an escape route from temptation.

Hits the Mark:

Charles Stanley accomplishes what he set out to do in this book. This is a very good tool if you are having problems with sin in your life. If you are human, chances are that you ARE having problems with sin. He gives you the tools and resources needed in overcoming sin. All you have to do is apply these biblical principles. Nothing exceptionally grand about the way he wrote the book. He gives some good illustrations, though. Mostly get-to-the-point information.

Nothing is more neccessary, nothing more urgent!:

Our constant war within. To conquer sin is our relentless pursuit, this book makes that process more attainable. I recommend you to first read HOW TO LISTEN TO GOD, then continue with this one. Learn to hear GOD, then enter the war within, and live a truly victorious life!
