Not what I expected:

I expected this book to fill the gaps and give details beyond the Symbian/SDK documentation. This book does not do that at all. There is hardly anything in this book that you can't find else where. The book does not attempt to address "details" of a concept - it rather superficially "touches" a variety of subjects i.e. you can do this or that using Series 60 SDK, or here are the tyes of dialogs, queries etc. Although many of these discussions are accompanied by brief code snippets, those can also be found... more info
