Never lose hope!:
Although I don't usually read books of this genre, I was drawn to read "The Wedding" since it was presented as the long-awaited sequel to "The Notebook" (which I read -- and loved! -- in anticipation of watching the movie). I'm glad I decided to give it a chance because I really enjoyed it. This is the first Nicholas Sparks books I have read and if, as some have complained, this is too much like his earlier books, then I am certain it will be my last. First and foremost, this is an unrealistic and forced story that could only happen as fiction.
